About the Role

Tranquil Talent Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a community focused training provider based in Sunderland. Established in 2012, our client delivers high quality education and training across the North East.

Pay DOE: £30,000-£35,000 

Hours: 37.5 per week 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain learner data via MIS platforms (e.g. PICS).
  • Manage the Individualised Learner Record (ILR) submission process with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring compliance with funding guidance.
  • Monitor learner data and records, including enrolments, past end dates, completions, destinations, and progression.
  • Conduct eligibility checks for funding and support delivery teams in applying the correct funding rules.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data input and updates across all learner records and contracts.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties given by Operations Lead
  • Produce a wide range of reports
  • Manage and lead a team of two staff

Essential Experience

 

  • ESFA Funding Rules: Deep understanding of current and historic funding regulations.

  • ILR (Individualised Learner Record) expertise: Ensuring ILR data is timely, accurate, and compliant.

  • Audit readiness: Preparing for external audits (e.g. Ofsted, ESFA, funding bodies).

  • GDPR & data protection compliance.

  • Managing learner data, enrolments, outcomes, and funding claims.

  • Supporting quality assurance and performance monitoring.

  • Aligning MIS and compliance activity with organisational goals.
