About the Role
Tranquil Talent Group are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a community focused training provider based in Sunderland. Established in 2012, our client delivers high quality education and training across the North East.
Pay DOE: £28,500-£32,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Key Responsibilities
- To plan, deliver and assess engaging courses, linked to the business need of the company.
- To plan, deliver and assess engaging learner-centred Heath and Wellbeing/Employability/Digital courses that promote positive mental health, self-esteem, resilience, and lifestyle awareness. And moving learners forward into a positive destination (Further Education employment or volunteering.)
- Creating a safe, inclusive and empowering learning experience.
- Plan and deliver a range of accredited and non-accredited pathway in the subject areas of: Health & Wellbeing, Employability and Digital. Embed safeguarding, EDI, and health & safety throughout all teaching practices.
- Demonstrate an informed and efficient approach to teaching and learning by adopting relevant strategies to increase achievement of all learners including, where appropriate, those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Document learners’ achievements, mark work in a timely manner.
Essential Experience
- Proficient in IT (Microsoft Teams, basic online platforms and digital resources)
- Experience in planning and delivering learner-centred sessions across one or more of the following areas; Health & Wellbeing, Employability, Digital Skills.
- Experience using a range of teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning style and abilities.
- Experience working with external partners (e.g. job centres, colleges, support services)
- Experience collaborating with internal teams (Tutors, assessors) and external agencies to support learner development and progression.
- Flexibility to adapt to in-person, online, or blended learning environments.
